Parents Enquiry Scotland

Parents Enquiry Scotland is a voluntary organization offering helplines run by a group of parents of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender children. We provide help, information and support for parents and families of LGBT children.

Confidential helplines are operated by parents. We are not counsellors but have been through the experience of learning to understand and support our own gay children. Telephone calls are welcome at any reasonable time, but as our helplines are operated from our own homes, please leave a message or try again if you don't get through to us first time.  http://www.parentsenquiryscotland.org/

One of the main problems faced by families of LGBT people is a sense of isolation, so we are happy to meet people; this is usually one-to-one, but sometimes we arrange for groups to meet. We also provide speakers to talk to interested organizations and have a comprehensive book list and leaflets available.
