Effect of homophobic bullying on gay men.

My name is Wayne Bateman and I am conducting a research project into the experiences of bullying on homosexual men. As a gay teenager I myself was bullied and the long term implications this has had upon my self-esteem and identity have outlived the actual instances of bullying themselves. This is a conclusion that many studies into homosexual bullying have found. I am hoping that my research, which is supported by the University of Cambridge, will highlight the impact of bullying within different life stages so that this information could be used to inform any anti-bullying campaigns and educational interventions aimed specifically at supporting young gay men.

How are you being treated? NHS LGBT consultation

I'm looking for volunteers who have an interest in Health and Social Care services in Bristol who can voice their feelings on the way they are treated. Or perhaps not being treated! As the case may be. I would be particularly interested to hear from those with a mental health perspective, and who may like to comment using an 'arts' medium.
